ACCRA, Ghana's central bank has increased its interbank dollar sales to $20 million daily, up from $14 million a week previously in a renewed bid to stabilise the cedi currency, its governor told Reuters on Wednesday.

Henry Wampah said robust interbank intervention would continue and he expected dollar inflows from donors, eurobond and cocoa loan to boost the bank's reserves. These could ease pressure on the currency, which has fallen near record lows of 4.3900.
