It’s only early in January and iROKOTV are already making power moves.
iROKOTV is an online VOD platform that allows its subscribers to get access to Nollywood movies and other TV shows. Recently, the startup announced a deal with Tigo, a telco company in Rwanda, a deal that allows the subscribers of Tigo to get access to iROKOTV’s content.
Now, according to a tweet by Jason Njoku, co-founder iROKOTV, iROKOTV is now collaborating with Vodafone Ghana to offer its contents to Vodafone’s subscribers for a fee as low as 20 cedis. That means, subscribers get unlimited access to iROKOTV’s content for a month as lows as 20 cedis.
Jason tells me that this collabo is as new as December last year and he said ” We’ll have to wait to see what’s in the pipeline “. Jason also added that a lot of people would be surprised at the moves they made last year and its result this year.
I would bet on Jason and Co to come up with more of these developments and keep on making power moves.
